US Dollar Exchange Rate
The Syrian Pound strengthened against the US Dollar over the past two weeks. The USD/SYP exchange rate was 131.25 (buy 131, sell 131.5), reflecting a 0.2% strengthening for the pound.
Other Major Currencies
Against other currencies, the pound weakened by 0.9% against the Euro, with EUR/SYP at 152.3 (buy 151.4, sell 153.2). It also weakened by 0.8% against the Saudi Riyal, which traded at 34.78 SYP (buy 34.54, sell 35.02). Conversely, the pound strengthened by 1.1% against the Turkish Lira, with TRY/SYP at 2.715 (buy 2.7, sell 2.73).
Gold Prices
Gold prices saw minor dips in the last 24 hours. 24K gold was quoted at 147 USD/gram, a decrease of 0.9%. 21K gold was 129 USD/gram, down 0.5%, and 18K gold was 110 USD/gram, showing a 1.1% decline.
Cryptocurrency Market
Major cryptocurrencies also experienced slight declines. Bitcoin (BTC) was at 79785 USD, down 0.5% in 24 hours, while Ethereum (ETH) traded at 2513 USD, a 0.2% decrease.
