Syrian Pound Strengthens Against Major Currencies; Gold and Crypto Rise
The Syrian Pound continued to strengthen against the US Dollar, Euro, Turkish Lira, and Saudi Riyal today. Gold and major cryptocurrencies also saw gains.
US Dollar (USD) Exchange Rate
The US Dollar (USD) was trading at 131.25 SYP, with buy rates at 131 SYP and sell rates at 131.5 SYP. Over the past two weeks, the Syrian Pound strengthened by 0.9% against the dollar.
Other Major Currencies
The Euro (EUR) was quoted at 151.9 SYP, with the pound strengthening 1.5% against it in two weeks. The Turkish Lira (TRY) was at 2.705 SYP, with a 1.8% strengthening for the pound. The Saudi Riyal (SAR) stood at 35.03 SYP, showing a 0.2% strengthening for the pound over the same period.
Gold Prices
Gold prices saw increases, with 24K gold at 144 USD per gram, up 1.8% in 24 hours. 21K gold reached 126 USD per gram, a 1.7% increase, and 18K gold was 108 USD per gram, rising 1.8%.
Cryptocurrency Market
In the cryptocurrency market, Bitcoin (BTC) climbed to 80457 USD, marking a 4.4% gain over 24 hours. Ethereum (ETH) also rose by 3.5% to 2479 USD.
