Syrian Pound Strengthens Against Major Currencies; Gold Prices Dip
The Syrian Pound showed strength over the past two weeks, appreciating against the US Dollar, Euro, Turkish Lira, and Saudi Riyal. Gold prices saw a 1.0% decline, while cryptocurrencies had mixed movements.
Syrian Pound Exchange Rates
As of September 6, the Syrian Pound traded at 131.4 SYP per US Dollar, with buy rates at 131.15 and sell rates at 131.65. Over the past two weeks, the pound strengthened by 1.0% against the US Dollar. It also appreciated against the Euro by 1.6% to 152.1 SYP, against the Turkish Lira by 1.8% to 2.705 SYP, and against the Saudi Riyal by 0.8% to 34.84 SYP.
Gold Prices Decline
Gold prices experienced a 1.0% decrease in the last 24 hours. Gold 24K was quoted at 142 USD per gram, Gold 21K at 125 USD per gram, and Gold 18K at 107 USD per gram.
Mixed Cryptocurrency Movements
In the cryptocurrency market, Bitcoin (BTC) saw a slight dip of 0.3% to 79543 USD. Ethereum (ETH), however, registered a gain of 0.8%, trading at 2479 USD.
