The Syrian Pound showed broad strengthening against major foreign currencies over the past two weeks. Gold prices saw mixed movements, while cryptocurrencies were also varied.
Syrian Pound Exchange Rates
The Syrian Pound strengthened against the US Dollar, with the rate at 132 SYP per USD. This represents a 0.4% strengthening over the last two weeks. The pound also strengthened against the Euro (152.95 SYP/EUR, down 0.7%) and the Saudi Riyal (34.97 SYP/SAR, down 0.3%) over the same period.
Turkish Lira Performance
The Syrian Pound saw its most significant strengthening against the Turkish Lira, with the rate at 2.715 SYP per TRY. This marks a 1.5% strengthening for the pound over the past two weeks.
Gold Prices
Gold prices in US dollars showed varied movements over the last 24 hours. 24K gold was quoted at 142 USD per gram, down 0.2%, while 21K gold was 124 USD per gram, down 0.5%. In contrast, 18K gold increased by 0.1% to 106 USD per gram.
Cryptocurrency Market
In the cryptocurrency market, Bitcoin was trading at 78575 USD, showing a 0.6% decline over 24 hours. Ethereum, however, saw a slight increase of 0.1% to reach 2487 USD.
