Syrian Pound Weakens Against Major Currencies; Gold Rises, Crypto Declines
The Syrian Pound continued its weakening trend against the US Dollar and other major currencies today. Gold prices increased across all karats, while major cryptocurrencies experienced declines.
Syrian Pound Exchange Rates
The Syrian Pound weakened against the US Dollar, with the rate reaching 132.2 SYP per USD. Over the past two weeks, the pound has weakened by 0.2% against the dollar. Similarly, the pound also weakened against the Euro to 152.75 SYP, the Turkish Lira to 2.735 SYP, and the Saudi Riyal to 35.02 SYP, showing 2-week weakening trends of 0.3%, 0.4%, and 1.0% respectively.
Gold Prices Increase
Gold prices in US Dollars saw increases today. 24K gold was quoted at 140 USD per gram, up 1.2% in 24 hours. 21K gold rose to 122 USD per gram, an increase of 0.8%, and 18K gold also increased by 0.8% to 105 USD per gram.
Cryptocurrencies Decline
Major cryptocurrencies experienced declines. Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 77445 USD, down 1.6% in the last 24 hours. Ethereum (ETH) also fell, reaching 2539 USD, a decrease of 2.5% over the same period.
